GP & SSP Activities Coordinators
Harvard Summer School (HSS) seeks multiple staff members for the Student Activities Office for the 2026 summer session. Serving a diverse population of students in the General Program (GP) and Secondary School Program (SSP), the Student Activities Office (SAO) provides engaging opportunities across specialty areas, such as film nights, health and wellness, off-campus trips, publicity, special events, athletics, college readiness workshops, virtual college admissions programming, and volunteering.

Senior Activities Coordinator (SAC)
The GP & SSP Senior Activities Coordinator will plan an engaging in-person and virtual student experience for the upcoming summer session as well as work with the SAO staff to provide oversight and guidance over programming.
Time Commitment: Spring (Part-time ~10-14 hours/week). Summer (Full-time ~40 hours/week)
Compensation: February– May 2026: $18/ hour, 10-14 hours a week.
June – August 2026: $7,000 plus room and board for the full summer term.
Number of Positions: 1
Open to recent college graduates and graduate students.

Activities Coordinator (AC)
Reporting to the Senior Activities Coordinator, the GP & SSP Activities Coordinators work in the Student Activities Office alongside the Pre-College ACs. Activities Coordinators ensure the smooth execution of in-person and virtual GP & SSP Programming, staff events, and develop engaging publicity materials for HSS activities. Activities Coordinators work closely as a team to manage logistics and implementation of SAO programming for GP & SSP students and maintain a safe and inclusive environment.
Time Commitment: Full-time position (~40 hours/week) with certain weekends and evenings required. Half-time applicants may be considered.
Compensation: $5,000. Plus room and meals

Senior AC
The Senior AC is required to arrive on campus by 4pm, Monday, June 8, 2026, and remain in residence until mid-afternoon, through Saturday, August 8, 2026.
General Program (GP) and Secondary School Program (SSP) ACs
Activities Coordinators are required to arrive on campus by 4pm, Monday, June 8, 2026, and remain in residence until mid-afternoon, through Saturday, August 8, 2026.
